Before you join

What happens after joining

Once you join, I'll send you a welcome message with access to Companion and a simple guide to help you get started.

Start by trying it for a week, in a flexible, low-pressure way — checking in regularly, or simply returning whenever support feels useful.

There's nothing to complete, no fixed timeline, and no pressure to engage in a particular way.

LifeGen is designed to fit around real life, not take it over.

Practicalities

●      Companion is currently free to try as a Founding Pioneer.

●      There's no fixed programme, no contract, and nothing to commit to.

●      You're welcome to stop, pause, or come back whenever suits you.

LifeGen is designed to support long-term health in a sustainable way — not to deliver short-term interventions or replace medical care.

Who LifeGen is for

LifeGen is designed for people who care about their health, but are tired of trying to hold everything together perfectly inside already full lives.

Many are carrying a great deal mentally — work, family, responsibilities, decisions, changing energy, future worries, and everything else life asks of them.

Most people already know a lot about health. The difficulty is rarely information.

More often, it's finding ways to care for themselves that feel realistic, sustainable, and supportive within real life.

LifeGen may be a good fit if you:

●      want evidence-informed support without pressure or extremes

●      are trying to make health feel more manageable in everyday life

●      prefer sustainable support over rigid programmes

●      value calm, practical lifestyle medicine grounded in real life

●      want support that works with your life and body — not against them

LifeGen may not be the right fit if you're looking for:

●      quick fixes or dramatic transformation

●      a strict programme with fixed rules

●      symptom diagnosis or clinical assessment — Companion supports lifestyle, not medical care

How it works

Companion currently runs through ChatGPT — guided and designed by a UK GP using lifestyle medicine principles. Once you join, I'll send you the link directly.

It adapts based on what you share over time, supporting reflection and everyday decisions in a way that fits around real life.

The experience is designed to feel calm, supportive, and practical — not overwhelming or clinical.

Privacy and data

I don't see or share your conversations — as the person behind LifeGen, I have no access to what you write to Companion. It's not connected to your medical record, and you remain in control.

Because Companion currently runs on ChatGPT, your conversations are also subject to OpenAI's own data policies, which you're welcome to review in your ChatGPT settings.

A few more questions people ask

Do I need to pay?

No — Companion is currently free while we're gathering feedback from an early group.

Do I need ChatGPT Plus?

No, a free ChatGPT account works. On the free plan there's a small usage limit that resets every few hours — that's OpenAI's limit, not a problem with Companion.

What if I want to stop?

Any time, no explanation needed. There's nothing to cancel.

Is this a replacement for my GP or medical care?

No. Companion supports the lifestyle side of health, alongside your healthcare — never in place of it.

If any of this leaves you with a question I haven't answered here, I'd be very happy to hear from you.
